HWT Unit gothic from Hamilton Wood Type
The Unit Gothic series was released by Hamilton Manufacturing Co. in 1907. This HWT release is the first ever digital version of these fonts. Each of the 7 fonts contains 600 glyphs including Greek and Cyrillic character sets as well as alternate characters based on the actual special character production patterns.
THE WAY I SEE IT.
I’ve posted this before. But, it completely sums up my way of thinking now. I want to do what I want. Ask out who I’ve always had a thing for. And go for any project that I thought was too big. I’m starting to figure out what I want. This isn’t because of a quote but this quote put the words in my mouth.
The way I see it…. things are looking good.

This is the office where I worked in 2007. That’s me on the bottom left corner, hard at work making the Meth Minute 39 series for Frederator Studios ( who were at the time developing a little show you may have heard of called “Adventure Time”).
See that long-haired guy all the way on the right side? That’s David Karp in the preliminary stages of inventing Tumblr. At this point, the only people who had heard of Tumblr are in the room. A lot can happen in 6 years! But don’t worry, everyone… he knows why we all love Tumblr and he’s not going to let it get ruined! I got a feeling.Awesome.

It took three weeks – due to the lack of a power-sander up until a day ago – but my upcycled pallet desk is now complete and in my room. Here are some shots of it.
The cords dangling in the background will be resolved as soon as my wire basket gets to my place.
Handsome. I love the idea of re-using a pallet for a desk.
