To me Google Reader is dead. Why wait for the actual date google pulls the plug. After reading up on Feedly I decided to bring my News Reading habits to those fine folks. And I have to say I’m very impressed with the Chrome plugin and the iOS app. Beautiful design.
Nothing last forever. And sometimes you have to clear out the old to make way for new.
Google Reader. Farewell.
Google Reader to Shut Down on July 1st.
Well this is going to make me read newspapers again……
ADOBE phasing out box sales. The Train to the future is now leaving.
So many people will have a hard time adapting to this. But, really. When was the last time you actually used your CD Drive in your computer?
Really?
Steve Ballmer, speaking with Businessweek’s Ashlee Vance on the topic of Dropbox.
I often predict that a comment will come back to bite someone from Microsoft in the ass. But I can say with near certainty that this one will. I mean, what a monumentally stupid thing to say.
What’s the upside here? Goliath beating its chest? Does he think startups will cower at that? Why would they? It’s clear from this statement that Microsoft is either:
a) arrogant and thus, ripe for disruption
b) scared shitless of disruption
It’s not clear which is actually worse.

Sounds like Mr. Baller’s reaction to the introduction of the device called the “iPhone.” Thank god, that device never took off, he would have looked like an ass.
I do not mess around when it comes to online file storage.

The 6th Anniversary to the unveiling of the first iPhone. Oh what could have been… #tech #apple #iphone
Design Thinking.

I just watched the 60 Minutes interview with David Kelly, the founder of IDEO. While Mr. Kelley is not a household name like Steve Jobs. It’s safe to assume that you have used a product that he and IDEO have designed.
Mr. Kelley and IDEO are a huge inspiration to me and Holeshot. He teaches the process of design thinking and how the end result of design should be something more than a product. It should be something that make our lives better.
I tell people all the time who ask me… “What’s your goal with Holeshot?” I tell them “its to change the world.” And every reply I get to that answer is… “kind of hard to do that selling signs.” To which I reply… “wait and see.”
I’m not kidding. My goal for Holeshot is to change the world.
One sign and design at a time.
